“Give it up for the next contestant…” A crowd cheers so loudly that the stadium shakes with its force, the plastic barriers separating the ice with the viewers trembling violently. The boy standing in the middle of the ice is beautiful, and princely. His thick eyebrows are furrowed in concentration as he moves into his starting pose, arms raised and body poised elegantly. The music begins, and he spins into life, shooting forward and dancing across the ice. He flips once, twice, and a final third, before skating across the rink until he’s nearly in front of Jongseong, so close, and yet his face is blurry as if he’s wearing a permanent veil.
